Maxie doesn't BSOD; he just trains until there's nothing left to kill. Then he just...doesn't stop.

[Most mornings in the rocky areas around Umbra Cave are fairly peaceful; there's not much in the area that would be naturally inclined to cause many disturbances, you see. However, there would be no particular need to mention this morning if it were exactly like most mornings, now, would there?

The plateau in question is a low one, easily accessible to most with four functioning limbs, though exactly how much one would want to access it right now is a matter that's up for debate; Maxie and at least one of his Pokémon have been making their presence very known since an ungodly hour of the morning. Camerupt, if the force of the Earthquakes ripping through the ground are any inclination.

For those who want to try, there's the destruction of the ground itself - the land here is already unstable, and what Maxie's been doing has ensured that a wide radius of damage has been done, a vast swath of broken rock and ground radiating outward from the center of the plateau itself. There are a good amount of Pokémon up here with him besides Camerupt, though they're long unconscious; Maxie seems to have been continuing to order strikes for no real reason other than increasing the damage already done. Camerupt himself is looking a bit worse for wear, though nothing compared to Maxie himself.

He's dropped to one knee on the ground, clearly dealing with obvious signs of physical exhaustion, his breathing shallow. His coat is falling a bit strangely as well; it's a little looser than it should be, perhaps. Though that isn't to say he hasn't been eating anything; there are some faint traces of blood near his mouth if you get close enough to get a good look at him, and judging from the lack of lacerations on his face, it clearly isn't his - but if you're close enough to see that, you're close enough that the blood probably won't be the first thing you notice.

There's something seriously wrong with one of his eyes, and despite having had the injury tended to once, he clearly hasn't been dealing with it since; the bandaging over the left side of his face has been removed, leaving it exposed for now. Most of the bruising has faded; it's not entirely gone, but even the darkest of it has faded into an odd, sickly-looking color, mostly situated over his left temple, though there's still some darkness under the eye; the eye itself is heavily dilated, not responding to light or any other sort of stimulus, and though it tracks with the other, it looks supremely bloodshot. A closer inspection will prove that that's not...exactly the case; either way, whatever's going on, he's definitely not seeing anything on that side.

He forces himself to stand; despite the fact that doing so nearly staggers him, his expression is far from resigned or defeated - whether it's at the injury or something else, it's incredibly clear that he's furious.]

...again.

[Given that Camerupt generally does as he's told, it's telling that this time, he doesn't seem inclined to continue. Much to his trainer's annoyance.]

Again.

gotta train em all, user: oceansbane, bow to team magma, full life consequences, i am a moron, i don't feel like dancing, screw the sea - i have land
