[A little bit away from Silver is a book that's been tossed aside, and in his hand are a needle, some thread... And his gloves. They've been torn up from being worn every passing moment save being in the shower- torn up enough that it would be so much more practical for them to be replaced, but he can't just replace them.
So here he is, trying to patch up his gloves, and doing a piss poor job at it. His fingers are covered in bandages from pricking himself, and while a little of the damage done to the gloves manages to be messily patched together, he's definitely not going anywhere anytime soon.]
