[Clefairy suddenly tucks her arms in close and then charges at the rock at top speed-Brave Bird. She staggers away, looking dizzy.]

The best is if they pull off a successful sheer cold attack!

Sheer Cold? I haven't heard of it. What does it do?

The hit rate is around... Thirty percent? But if it hits it's an instant KO.

Really? That's incredible! I guess it makes sense that it's difficult to pull off, or else everyone would teach it to their pokémon. Uh- [he turns to his pokémon] -hey, use Metronome again!

[Clefairy runs toward the rock to strike it with a Comet Punch.]

Are you training or studying?

I'm researching! [Really.] Although if I can figure out a way to make this more useful in battle, I guess it can count as training, too.

I only really use it in battles as a last resort...

Yeah. It's kind of hard to rely on, but it's helped me out a few times before-I don't think I want to get rid of it.

I didn't know you had a Clefairy!

Yup! I found her in Mt. Coronet. I thought she was strong, so I decided to keep her instead of releasing her through the PC like I do most of the others.

Yeah! It's the highest peak in Sinnoh. I haven't been able to explore the whole thing, because some parts aren't accessible unless you've got pokémon that know certain HMs. But I'm really interested in going through! There's a lot of wild pokémon there that...
