[Despite it being April, the weather is still quite chilly. The wind is blowing, and it's still too early in the day to have really warmed up. To top things all off, a very light drizzle is falling, just enough to dampen everything and everyone under the sky.]
[That all being said, it should come as no surprise whatsoever that Red is sitting outside, on the beach to be precise, in a t-shirt and jeans.]
[What may come as a bit more of a surprise is that he's reading -- not a book of training tips or anything on pokemon, but a novel. If examined closely, one may be able to make out a picture of a sad nurse on the cover and even the title: Hope to See You Again: A Tale of Love and Longing. A cheap, trashy romance by any account. Red is unreadable as usual, but for whatever reason he's definitely immersed in the novel.]
[Talk to him? Read over his shoulder? Make O_o faces at him until he notices? There has to be some explanation for this...]
