The scenery she grew to love was missing, but she continued to navigate through the mysterious land mass and past an acre of trees. The entire area looked fascinating due to unfamiliarity. [Pokemon do live here, indeed, and this includes one particularly intriguing case. Specifically, it was this very human-like Pokemon perched atop a stump and humming a tune to a nearby bird.

The bird was actually beginning to get queasy, unbeknownst to her. Meloetta's music could also be harmful, and that was especially difficult to help around very small creatures. Oops. A Pokemon like Gothorita, however, may not be harmed by this kind of music she's giving.

Now, if she was singing the ancient Relic Song... well, she wouldn't be so lucky.]

[The sound of music perked the Gothita's interest; this was a tune completely unknown to her. )And yes, the psychic Pokemon was seemingly unharmed by the melody.) Somewhat cautious, she decided to follow the sound to its source.

What the Gothita found was a strange, but elegant creature unlike any a common Pokemon would ever see. It had a human-esque shape, but she could sense strong, psychic vibes from it.]

[She said in her own Pokemon language:] Oh my, hello? That's a gorgeous melody you have~

that's cool! take your time!

[Meloetta felt a presence nearby, but only once the other Pokemon spoke up did she stop in her vocalizations. She looked up at the bird with a smile before turning to the Gothorita, eyes showing delight and modesty.]

Oh, hello, little one! ♪ [How odd. She could feel a strange energy radiating from the other Pokemon. Was it a psychic-type, too?] Thank you! As the Pokemon of melodies, I do like to sing all the time.

[A head-tilt!] What kind of Pokemon are you? I'm sorry, but I don't think I've seen one like you before.

A Pokemon of Melodies? Why, I've never heard a lovelier title~! Your singing is simply fabulous!

[She performed a coy "curtsy" of sorts, her small lips parted into a smile.] I am a Gothorita. We are Pokemon empowered by starlight, and we possess great psychic potential. However, I'm afraid I've become lost... I do not come from here, so began looking for a way home.

[Meloetta's smile remains until Gothorita mentioned looking for a way to get back home. Her cheery expression then twisted into one of sympathy and dismay. Unfortunately, that request couldn't be adhered to at this time. If it could have been, Meloetta would have gone home by now.

The part she hated the most was having to break that sort of news.]

I'm... terribly sorry, but once you're here, you can't leave! I'm not sure why, but it is impossible. I've even tried and couldn't do it.

[Meloetta wrung her hands in front of her body nervously. This was upsetting...] Well, you are in Awesome Island. I am unsure why it's so impossible to leave, but... I think people say if they try, they wind up back at the island, even if they go in the opposite direction! I wonder why.

Awesome Island? What a peculiar sounding place. What is it like on this island? If I'm going to stay here a while, I hope it's not too shabby~ I wish to return back to Unova, but I will make due for now.

Well, much of the island seems to be wilderness, that I've seen... but there is a little town in the center of the island! ♪ It is simply precious. Would you like to see it?

[She didn't know if it'd fit to Gothorita's standards, but it's worth a shot!]

Hm~? Oh, most definitely! I would love to see what a town on this island would look like.

[Gothorita weren't terribly shy around humans, and this one was no exception. From away, they are interesting, and on a blue moon they were sometimes fun to play around with. Being a mischievous species and all, it was a subtle trait in her.]

Wonderful! It shouldn't be too far from here. ♪ It's in the center of these trees.

[Meloetta motions for her to follow along.] I hope you don't mind a lot of people! This island is well-inhabited. I think I really like the people, but it can be a bit awkward...
