He looks left and right curiously. He didn't use his Pidgeot to fly here, so, why...? However, he is distracted by the Shuckle who is standing in front of him. He stares at it before taking out his POKéDEX, which reads, "NO DATA FOUND..."
Which means that it's probably a new species. However, this Red is not battling it, but instead studying it, wondering what type it is until he picks a Pokémon to battle it with.
