Good Morning :) a big thank you to setentpet and londonesque for the v-gifts! I totally forgot about the time change, so I'm kinda confused about what time it is, but...yeah...I don't have much else to report, but I did see Alice in Wonderland last night :)
Alice in Wonderland
I honestly don't remember either the first book or the second one, so I didn't have a frame of reference to work with, but on the entertaining scale, it was quite amusing. I'm not sure I'd say it's 'great' - but the effects were good and the acting was, of course, solid.
The general premise was far-fetched, but so was the book. Alice doesn't remember going to Wonderland before and ends up there when she's being proposed to by some guy. She has to go there so she can save the world from the Red Queen and return the world to the White Queen. It was amusing, and you really didn't need to 'know' much to follow the story. Way too many kids in the theatre and it made the movie a little kid-ish...
I thought Anne Hathaway was a lot better than the reviews gave her credit for, but being covered in white make-up was bizarre...it was a fun movie, I saw it in 2-D, not 3, but it was...mildly amusing. I don't really remember a whole lot about the movie...but I remember being amused at the time.
I'm sleepy...I'll keep you all posted with my updates, seeing a surgeon on Thursday, they might do the biopsy then, who knows...anywho, I like charmander :)
