to liars_dance - hope you had a good one, hun! I haven't been doing much, this weekend, happily - work tomorrow - it's nice...I'm happy to have work :)
I also saw Shutter Island yesterday...mata090680 was right about it ;)

I have to give credit to the director, it was a high-reaching idea, but I don't think the movie ever really embodied what it should have. There was so much that should have been done to establish what was going on, and it wasn't.
The basic premise of the story is that US Marshalls are being brought to this island to investigate a disappearance of a patient. The story goes on and you realise there is something else besides that patient disappearance that's occurring. It is dark and disturbing, but at the same time leaves you wanting to see more of what they'd never said.
I have to say, the marketing department for the movie should be awarded major bonuses. The trailers for the movies were just amazing. The concept was so high-reaching, but the execution was lacking. Not a great movie, you could rent it and get the same effect...I might see Avatar today, but I'm trying not to go :)
