I never thought I'd say this, but...

In a moment of extreme boredom I watched Words Worth, and the plot was actually decent. O_o

A bit generic fantasy about people of light and shadow fighting each other, and some... Plot holes.
Like how a guy can be missing for twenty years, but his daughter who was born about 9 months after he disappeared can't be more than ten.
I mean, seriously. Just look at her.)
Also, I found the reason he was gone to be a bit stupid, I'd say that they could have just skipped that and say that he was just gone ten years normally (i.e. just missing) instead of that crap reason for being gone twenty years.
That would actually be a more believable reason, and even make more sense timewise than the canon timeline. At least when it comes to character age and appearance. ⌐_⌐
Most people looking exactly the same after ten years is a bit of a stretch, but after twenty? No way.
Of course, they would have to keep the reason he couldn't go back, it was a big part of the plot, even if a bit lot cliché.

Oh, and you RPGC people will probably remember seeing Stallion in TD's sig quite some time ago. (It was a screenshot from the spinoff Words Worth Gaiden.)
Even if it was a long time ago, that screenshot isn't that easy to forget. ;P

All in all, it was an okay way to spend a few bored hours. It was just bothersome that some episodes didn't like the ALT-arrow way of skipping forward in VLC (and would just reset if I did that) so I had to move the time-marker-thingie manually to skip scenes.
Yes, I skipped some scenes. Like (I think it was actually Fred, even though it's a comparision that I never thought anyone but me would ever think of) said when I mentioned it..
"It's like the singing in a Disney movie". It's kinda interesting at first, but after you've seen it a few times, it starts to get boring.
... ... ... I believe that comparision must have condemned us both to Hell. Seriously, we'll burn for it. ⌐_⌐
I've probably smudged your souls a bit too, just by association. Sorry.

I can't really say I recommend it though. The plot isn't that great, some of the characters are a bit lacking in personality, some are lacking a lot, but it's not as bad as some things I've seen. The animation quality was okay, but I guess that's kinda required from an anime in a genre that relies mostly almost entirely on the visuals.
So yeah, only thing about it that could actually compete with any other anime was the animation quality, but I didn't expect anything else from it either.

Oh yeah. Me and Fred have also started watching a lot of Darkwing Duck. He's downloading the entire series. :D
It's a shame that they cut it short. It rocks!
So many memories.
