That's the actual episode recap, too. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it? :D
None of this has had anything to do with the show so far, either. The closest they ever got to anything even remotely near this level of technobabble was a scene where they missed a birthday because they lost a few weeks of time when they were traveling at near the speed of light.

(Fun fact: Time actually works that way, too. At high enough velocity, time (and distance) aren't the same for you as for the world around you.)
