I now know why I am the way I am.

A friend and I found a lot of 80s cartoon intros on Youtube (80's Cartoons Intro Overload and subsequent parts) and...
Seriously. What the hell were people smoking/shooting/snorting/munching/all of the above when they made the cartoons that we grew up with?

Bravestarr is one of the series there, but, as the phrase goes: "Cannot unsee what I saw!"
Thirty/Thirty = Stallion
CANNOT UNSEE!
I never really watched Bravestarr when I was little, though. At least this revelation didn't give the "Stallion treatment" to my childhood.

I'm seriously considering getting, and watching, one of the best series of the 80s though.
If I just say one word (three times) I think everyone can guess which series it is:
Thunder. Thunder! THUNDER! (THUNDERCATS! HOOOOOOOOO! :D)
Although the series that comes after had a much larger impact on my childhood. T.M.N.T. :D
I'm tempted to rewatch parts of the new series. It's kinda nice. At least they had different personalities in that series. But then it turned crap when they got to the "Ninja Tribunal" plotline.
It was just... Shitsux.

Checking some other intro. Ulysses 31 seems interesting. Looks like Sci-fi version of the Illiad with a bit of Daft Punk. O_o

And, of course, GUMMI BEARS! :D
But again, what the fuck were people on? Bouncing magical bears that become super strong when they drink some strange berry juice? What the hell, seriously?

God damn I love this collection of 80's cartoon intros though. So much nostalgia. Denver the Last Dinosaur. :D
My grandparents had it on video. We watched that episode over and over. That, Fraggle Rock and Heathcliffe. :D

Ah well, I'm not gonna keep rambling about old cartoon series. Just watch through the Cartoon Intro Overloads yourself and feel the nostalgia. :D

nostalgia, cartoons, internet
