I'm definitely not new here, even though I never really posted anything (besides my pic for TheUnknownSoul during last October's art exchange) or introduced myself properly. I stopped using my LJ for a while, but now I plan to abuse it to store doodles and studies I'm too ashamed of to put in my DA gallery, make friends and all that good stuff.
A few words about me before I get too boring: I'm 18, I'm Italian (I really hope my English won't end up exasperating you) and if everything goes as planned I'll be out of high school in a few months and I'll be finally free to take REAL art lessons, take commissions, start working on TONS of personal projects, etc.

Meet Team Nikera! I hope this gif won't fry your brains - I could always make the single images change more slowly. These six guys belong to Nikera, one of my original characters. They are her pogeys for an Original Character Contest I'm currently attending on DA, the Battle Frontier: Ohana Islands. They're not nice guys, but that's perfectly okay for her purposes.
CHARACTERS:
Hellbore the Lopunny - Workaholic and strict, dopes himself with Protein, Iron and such to improve his performances and look more manly
Shamshir the Nidoking - A territorial, cocky jerk with a passion for human girls. Quite silver-tongued
Lucifer the Aerodactyl - The unofficial leader of the team, always smiling deviously. He likes to come off as a sadistic individual
Semiazar the Cacturne - A gentlemanly loner who doesn't actually belong to the team, but rents a Pokéball from Nikera whenever he needs protection. Nobody knows what kind of affairs he's involved in
Absinthe the Rapidash - Dangerously playful and childish, crushes objects, Pokémon and people for fun

Sienna the Aggron - Whose gender is unknown. A beastly ex-labrat who acts unpredictably
Hellbore being cute.
Semiazar - naked and wearing his old coat/jacket thing.
Shamshir being all hairy and smug.
I have a lot more stuff to submit, but I'd prefer to do so little by little :3
