Sadly, this entry doesn't have bio-rantage, just art. ^^;
Also, a bunch of art of a certain human character who I love to pieces. xD
I figured I'll get this out of the way first.
Yeah. I love Gardenia. Deal with it.
And this is part of the reason why - her obsessive fangasming over my favorite type... And unlike certain OTHER grass-type gym leaders, she's utterly crazy and pretty much admits it. And she's quite badass in-game (except for that weird ghost phobia, but hey, everyone's afraid of something).

A collaboration with the ever-amazing Irene - I did the original lineart, she did the coloring. I really love what she did with it. ^_____^

I probably should have posted this in the Starters post, but I forgot it existed until recently xD. So. Here are some Hoenn starters, a Dialga, a Torterra and, uh, a... Combee. o_O
(I totally need to draw an actual Combee at some point. I need to figure out an explanation for them first. @_@)
FOR THE RRRRRRROYALTY! [/Inferno]
For some reason, I rather like Vespiquen. The thing is, quite literally, a mothership. >>;
Aerodynamically, Vespiquen is not supposed to be able to fly. However, being the Carrier-Overlord hybrid monstrosity she is, she quite blatantly told the laws of physics to, well, buzz off.
Buizel, pursuing a Remoraid underwater. I based the pose on an actual otter picture I've seen before, although I suppose it'd be a bit difficult for Buizel to actually do because of the whole propeller-tail bit... Ah well.
Drawn for a random friend of mine. I always imagined Mr. Mime as a strange, almost tree-frog-like organism (I need to draw a better picture than the one I have of the concept sometime - one of the reasons why there was no Mr. Mime in the Kanto batch). 'Realistifying' Mime Jr. was a huge bloody challenge... and it looks like a muppet from hell, still! xD
GIBLE. These things are ridiculously comical no matter which way you look at them. Being essentially land piranhas, or mouthes on legs... Let's just say that the few episodes in which Ash obtained one inspired me. Ye gods, that thing makes me lol. XD
Drapion is NOT one of my favorite designs. It reminds me of a demented cross of an accordion and a boss from an old-school platformer. I mean, COME ON. its flexible parts are composed entirely of spheres! I can imagine how you'd fight it. The body would be immobile, it'd first lash at you with its stinger, then lash out with its neck and its arms, then rear back up, giving you the chance to attack. You'd have to knock down its arms first, then its tail stinger, then attack its head until it dramatically explodes!
But anyway. >>
Me and my demented fictional platformers aside, one day I had the strange revelation that maybe those white handkerchiefs stuffed up its cheeks were really supposed to be mandibles... And since I was talking about Yautja/Predators with a friend on MSN, the mental image of a realistic-er Drapion with Yautja-style mandibles came to mind... And this happened.
It wants to eat your soul. And apparently, according to a friend of mine who had a dream about two of those attempting to kill her the night after she saw this picture, it is stuff of nightmares. Which I suppose is what the blasted accordions were MEANT to be.
And this page is full of LURKING HORRORS. >>;
One of my 'PokeSonas' so to speak, a variation on Leafeon. Yeah, yeah, Eeveelutions are Overrated. I know. But it's a grass type... kitty-thing. With Leaf Blade. And X-Scissor. Frell yes.
Gliscor. Only problem with this particular one is the fact that when I drew it I was convinced the thing had actual wingishness to its wings as opposed to being kind of a... fan. Still. Awesome scorpion-gargoyle things. Pretty deadly too. @_@
Glenn Hendrix, one of my characters, and his musically-inclined Rotom, Siegfried. Yeah, Sieg haunts his guitar most of the time, and has a tendency to provide appropriate background music. XD
The Lake Spirits of Sinnoh, re-imagined as some kind of odd fae-beings, as honestly, blue mews with funny hats really doesn't sit well in my mind.
