Life as we know it

According to LJ, I haven't updated in 16 weeks. So here's a rundown of my life for the past 16 weeks.

Let's begin with the worst production I've ever been in: Anatomy of Gray. It could have been an amazing show, it was just conceived poorly and executed even worse. The acting was mediocre, and I had to be at rehearsal every single day to say my 3 lines. It was pointless and boring...However, this is when I discovered Drew.

Drew and I have been friends for about a year now, and never in my whole life did I think I would see him as more than that. But we hung out backstage all the time, and began flirting like nobody's business. I freaked out and realized "hey, I like drew." i told him, and fortunately, he likes me too. We've been dating for almost 2 months.

Then came Lysistrata. It's a play about the greeks being at war, and the women decide that to get the war to end, they won't have sex with their husbands until Peace is obtained. I'm Lysistrata. This has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have learned so much about myself as an actor, and that I can really do this. This is my life, this will be my career.

I've learned a lot about myself in the past 16 weeks. I can get what I want, and I do. I just have to know how to ask for it. I've learned I can care about someone without having to protct myself constantly. Drew makes me leave my guard down, and I like it.

That's all kiddos.

Lysistrata runs this weekend and next. Let me know if you would like to come see it :)
