Wow. I'm seriously bummed out at the moment. It just came to my attention that John Hughes died yesterday. Doing what? Walking...exercising! He was only 59...damn. damn. damn!

For those of you who have no idea who this man is... I would like you to stick your left hand out palm down....now take your right hand and slap the left one as hard as you can!!! I'm sorry, but you'll understand why that was necessary in a moment...keep reading.

He's made some of the greats! Such as Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Weird Science, National Lampoon's Vacation, Some Kind of Wonderful, Uncle Buck, Home Alone 1 and 2!!!

Most people think that this is just a sad occurence, but its sooo much more than that! People, this man is responsible for defining a whole generation! His brilliance made teenage angst relavent!

I'm at a true loss...just...wow. RIP John Hughes, your movies influenced me more than my own parents did, and for that I say Thank You.
