So I read int he paper today about how excellent our homeland security is. They let a "bizarre-acting" man into the US from Canada, even though he was carrying brass knuckles, pepper spray, a sword, a hatchet, and a chainsaw with blood on it. He informed them taht he worked for the president.
Ok, I'm all for respecting people's rights and waiting for probable cause and everything, but don't you think bizarre behavior, a claim that he works for the white house (although he sports a mohawk), and BLOOD ON A CHAIN SAW should be enough to merit extreme caution? TO be fair, border officials did call the Canadian gov't and ask if there was a warrant for him. In fact, he was due (in 2.5 hours) in court, for a hearing on his assault charges. This, in addition to the aforementioned hints, did not prevent US border officials from letting the man through to the US. Later that day a warrant was put out for his arrest, since his next-door neighbors were found....
BEHEADED WITH A CHAIN SAW.
I don't feel that I have to say any more on this matter.
