Damn, the weather's nice. So naginata practice was enjoyable, and we have two new people -- one's from Renegades, and I should know her but I'm bad at names, and the other is Alicia, from Beginning Riding I (at least until she dropped out)! Of course, this means that the naginata:student ratio has changed. Ah well. This time I got the hang of the -- shoot, what was it -- switching-hands men strike. It's fun. We practiced blocking as well -- it's surprisingly easy, easier than fencing, at least at this level. Ha. I didn't get any new blisters but my feet are kind of sore. During Spring Break we can buy our own naginatas for like $65, but I'm not sure if I want to just yet. I mean, it's really fun and awesome, but I have a terrible habit of starting things and then dropping them.
Booked an airport ride with "First Class Shuttle", whose page is located
here. They have an special opening rate of $70 round trip! Sweet, considering Valley Transport would be $90. Maybe with competition, VT's horribly high rates will go down. One can only hope.
And now, back to French. *yawn*
