(no subject)
Soooooo I didn't go to the party after all, because I am a lazy, anti-social bum. It is also cold and snowing and that makes me unhappy when I have to walk through it late at night. [/whine] Instead of doing anything useful, I had lunch at NoHo and looked through Faces. They have interesting skirts. And then I had a giant lump of pasta with clams in lemongrass sauce (mmm... good) for lunch, and listened to local gossip. J.T. Snow is no longer on the Giants team!? When did this happen? I must be completely out of it.
Tomorrow I must correct my French essay. *winces* It'll wound my ego, I'm sure, so I'm putting it off for as long as I can. And then there's the meeting with the tutor on Monday - but she's nice, so I think it'll be okay. Apparently using the term "elle sait que" or just using the verb "savoir" as in "someone knows..." is "anglocisme." Augh. That means I have to find a different way to write "she knows that" or "she knows nothing" about ten times. >.> Guess I shouldn't translate in my head as much as I do.
