The Internet has informed me that all the flying termites I saw today mean they are trying to start a new colony. They mate, then the wings drop off, and they go off to have many termite babies.

There are innumerable wings on the ground nearest our old rotten wooden garden shed outside.

Oh joy.

Well, at least it is not inside our house.
