SO WAIT IF CLAIRE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE CATALYST
AND ARTHUR TOOK THE CATALYST FROM HIRO
AND BROUGHT IT TO THE FUTURE WITH HIM
.... BUT THE CATALYST IS WHAT MADE EVERYONE HAVE POWERS AT THE ECLIPSE AND NOW IT'S SKIPPED ALL THOSE YEARS WITH CLAIRE AND THUS NEGATED THE POWERS-GIVING PHENOMENON

did the original timeline just. explode. actually, i'm not sure i should call it a timeline anymore; i'm visualizing a kind of giant time-soup now because everyone keeps mucking up whatever was going to happen by going back and changing a big event, or going back and taking something important from the past... okay i really have no coherent thought for this.
was claire ever the catalyst? did the catalyst ever actually have anything to do with the eclipse and giving people powers? also i thought arthur got adam's regeneration powers so how can they kill him?! from the way the blood spilled, the bullet exited his head, and s1 claire proved that you'll stay alive as long as foreign objects don't stay in important organs...
I reread the posts with the "Heroes" tag and all my attempts at making sense of the plot twists. None of them actually happened the way I tried to envision them. Clearly a person who likes rules and rationality should not attempt to make sense of this show.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON BUT A) SYLAR IS AWESOME WHEN HE'S BACK TO BEING HIMSELF (aka a crazy murderer and not the ... whatever ... he was with Elle) B) I WILL ALWAYS LOVE NOAH BENNET EVEN IF HE NEVER STOPS BEING A BASTARD, AND C) I WILL EAGERLY WATCH NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE.
Unrelated to Heroes, but oh jeez. When I get nervous - like today, when I was waiting for my turn to present in class - I tend to um, knead myself. Except like, the way cats do it. With my nails. So I totally banged up my left hand digging and scratching from nerves, and it's over six hours later and they still haven't gone away. O-OOPS?! I didn't want to have to use that tag more than once I swear...
