They actually have a teaser trailer for Terminator Salvation now.
I DON'T QUITE KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THIS. On the one hand, I really, really want to believe, because I love the Terminator franchise in a ridiculous, ridiculous way. The second one is easily my very favorite movie of anything I've ever watched. The ride/show at Universal was like, the first one I went on when we got there. On the other hand, I completely hated the third one and have managed to convince myself I never actually saw it. (Killing Sarah Connor off with a disease kklsngn;askfkls)
But there is no Arnold in this film. It... looks like the actual Armageddon war is starting, so we're in that T-800's "present," when he's still Skynet's soldier. Sadly that also means we won't have that human/machine connection that I so loved about T2. :( Buuuut I will hold my breath and pray. M.. maybe a complete revamp of the cast is not a bad thing! Maybe it will work! Maybe Christian Bale holds the magical Key To Reviving Franchises! And if not, well, I guess I'll go rewatch T2 until my bitter disappointment heals.
