Infodump post
Things have been resolved! People are not... perfectly happy, but when you're trying to fit 16 people into 7 apartments, that's kind of impossible. But people are more or less satisfied, and there haven't been any crying fits since this afternoon. Good! I mostly sat and was quiet, because really, all the apartments except... three were perfectly fine for me. I dunno. I still have the one with the giant kitchen, though. Which is pretty cool; I can cook things like lamb, chicken, pasta, try French recipes...
So in other words, things are okay. Things are okay. *breathes*

In other news! I found le Polygone, which is pretty much the biggest mall in the center of town. I needed ID photos. A-and they had an Fnac. For those who don't know, an Fnac is pretty much like a... Virgin Megastore? But it has a lot of manga. And I couldn't help myself, so I bought Chrno Crusade #5 in French -- now I have it in three languages. :D M-maybe I'll get the other four later -- no! I must not spend my money on that, haha. Ha... There's also a Leonidas in the Polygone, which is exactly like the one in Walnut Creek. Now I have proof! They are real European chocolates!
Plus I went to Gilbert & Joseph for my kind of shopping therapy, after the second aparment meeting thingie. By this I mean I bought paper goods. An agenda, a large notebook, a couple more pens, post-its, and 100 self-adhesive envelopes. All I need are stamps. :3
I move in tomorrow. Yaaaaay? And hopefully I'll also get a cellphone, so I can use up like 30 Euros the first day talking to my family. But I won't be able to get internet until three to four days later. >( So I guess that means my CFUD dehiatus post will be this weekend. "SORRY CAN'T GO OUT MUST BE ONLINE" again?
... Also I'm not tagging my posts with "France" or "study abroad" anymore because that's going to be a kind of obvious theme.
