Title: Love Reality
Rating: I guess I'd say PG-13 cause swears are thrown around a lot but no sexual content.. yet.. *evil grin*
OkayOkay. I would've updated faster but I got distracted by catching up on some other fics. (Firefly Eyes = so much love). Oh and I finally conquered LJ cuts. *pride* I know I'm not like a godly writer or anything but I'm trying to make this worth reading. :] The plot gets more interesting (at least for me to write o_o) every chapter. So I hope you read it and like it :D
Chapter One Chapter Two Ville frantically rushed down a hall and up two flights of stairs. As he looked into each room he passed, he realized no one seemed to be around.
"Where ever Bam went.." Ville whispered to himself. "He must've taken Ryan with him." Noting that he hadn't seen either boy. He moved down a few more long hallways before almost quitting. Ville sadly began walking back to his room, hoping they'd come back soon. But then he remembered that he had not looked in Bam's room for Dunn. Valo slowly paced over to Bam's door, half praying that he would still be sleeping sweetly under his dark sheets. He opened the door and sighed in disappointment. No Bam. The skater was no where to be seen. Ville sat down on Bam's bed with a very blank look on his face.
"Why did he take off so suddenly?" Ville spoke under his breath. Usually if Bam was going to go somewhere he'd tell everyone.
"Bam is heartbroken, hung over, and running on no sleep. He's in no condition to be driving.." Ville began to become worried about the younger man, his Bammie. He also wished he could've comforted the saddened Bam better. He sighed again, this time louder, and got up to leave Bam's room. As he neared closer to the door, it opened without warning, and Bam appeared in front of Ville. He had a glass in his hand.
"What the fuck?" They let out in unison. Ville restrained himself from putting his arms around Bam and cuddling him.
"Bam, fuck, you had me so worried, where did you go?"
"I went down to the kitchen to get some water." He held up his glass as if he felt like he needed to convince Ville. "Jesus, Ville, calm down."
"How can I 'calm down'? You just cried yourself to sleep and I saw your Hummer pull out of the driveway, and I couldn't find anyone anywhere."
"Wait. Slow down. My Hummer did what?!" Bam demanded.
"You mean... You weren't the one driving it, say twenty minutes ago?"
"No. No, Dunn woke me up with a fucking plunger and then we talked for like ten minutes. Then he went downstairs and I went down to get water.. Goddamn, someone fucking stole my car. Again. Shit." Bam slouched his shoulders and his face went pale. Ville wondered why so much shit was happening to Bam lately.
"Bammie, we'll get it back. I'm just so glad you're okay." Ville smiled and put an arm around Bam.
"I was never in danger, so it doesn't matter that I'm okay. I just want my fucking Hummer back. Why can't I have a goddamn normal day?" Bam pulled himself away from Ville, who was surprised at this action.
"I think we can find it, Bam. But even if we can't I'm sure you could just buy another one." Ville realized those words may have stung only after it was too late to take them back.
"Yeah, but I don't want another one. I want mine." Bam pouted almost playfully. Ville smiled at Bam's childish tone.
"Come on, Bammie, let's go find Dunn."
They walked around the entire house screaming Dunn's name, but had no luck. The two men figured Ryan couldn't have gone too far, so Bam agreed to look outside for him; he also wanted to see if the Hummer was really gone for himself or if Ville was tricking him. But as Bam drew close to the driveway, he could clearly see that his car was indeed missing.
When Bam returned to the the house, having not found Dunn, saw Ville in the living room with a paper in his hand and a mixed expression on his face.
"Bam you aren't going to believe this." It was hard for Bam to decide if Ville was happy or sad about this paper, so when Ville shoved it into his hand he paused and waited for Ville to do something. Ville smiled in approval and Bam began to read it out loud, unaware he was doing so.
"Yo, Bam, I know you're all depressed and shit, so I took the Hummer to a detailing dude and he's gonna give it a sweet new paintjob. Sorry if I freaked you out by leaving so randomly. I was gonna surprise you, but I didn't want anyone to call the cops. Anyways, see you tonight." There was a little at the bottom that Bam didn't read, but it wasn't important, and Bam didn't care, He had a huge, smile on his face that was filled with happiness.
"Fucking Dunn." Bam said as he hugged Ville. Ville was delighted to see the formerly depressed Bam beaming.
"You know, I was about to call 911, or Migé or something." Ville said with a little laugh.
"Willa, 911 wouldn't have been any help. And Migé would have been even less help!" Bam laughed hard for the first time in days. And Bam loved when Ville smiled. Anyone would agree that it was adorable.
"I know, I was just worried, about your car.. and you." Ville and Bam stared into eachothers eyes and grinned. They were happy to have eachother's company.
"So, what do you wanna do until Dunn gets home? Shit, I can't wait to see the Hummer."
"Oh, I don't know," Ville replied. "Wanna just stay here and talk? I want you to feel better.. about everything. You've had a rough day so far."
"Umm, alright." Bam said after a few seconds. He had almost forgotten about Jimmy Pop when he thought his car was stolen, and even more so when he knew his Hummer was getting a new paint job. He felt his heart sink again and Ville saw his frown.
"Unless you don't want to, Bam, it's okay." Ville said soothingly, Bam gulped. This will be hard. He thought. But Ville was easy to talk to.
Ville spoke softly, his voice deep and comforting. They talked out the situation with Jimmy Pop.
"There's nothing you can do to change his sexuality, Bammie, I'm sorry." Ville said slowly.
"I know, Willa, but it was such a shock to me. I already feel a little better about it though, really."
"It didn't really shock me. Jimmy always seemed straight to me. I was more surprised when he told us he was gay." They both chuckled a little.
"Yeah you're right," Bam moved closer to Ville on the couch they were seated upon. It only took a few more minutes of talking it out for Bam to realize that he and Jimmy had been an odd couple, and they were never that close anyway. Bam decided he was over it. He hesitated and then began speaking again.
"Willa, I think I'm done being sad over Jimmy," Bam said with a smile that Ville returned. "I guess it just wasn't meant to be." Bam's thoughts flashed back to the night before when Ville kissed him. Had it just been a drunken kiss that Ville now regretted, or had he meant something by it? Bam was snapped back to reality when Ville finally responded.
"I guess not, BamBam." Ville said with a playful look on his face that Bam couldn't quite figure out. Ville was always somewhat mysterious. But Bam was glad Ville was there to talk to him. He really loved being around him. But he still wondered if the kiss last night had any significance to Ville. Or if he even remembered it!
"Ville?" He squeaked out his name waiting for a reply.
"Yes Bam?" Ville hoped Bam wouldn't ask why he kissed him last night. Ville still didn't really know. Not like he wanted to take it back, but he didn't have a good excuse for doing it.
"Did you have a reason for kissing me last night at the bar?" Bam barely got the words out. He was afraid of the answers he could get.
"Do I need a reason to kiss my Bammie?" Ville answered smoothly.
"Well, yeah since you're getting married in two months." Bam uttered almost harshly. Ville felt bad, Bam had no idea that he was more interested in Bam than his fiancé. But now didn't seem like a good time to say that. Ville did not want to ruin his engagement unless Bam was a sure thing.
"I guess I was drunk, and I felt like it," the Finn retorted at last.
"Fine" Bam stated eventually. He wasn't totally satisfied with that answer but he let it go. Ville would tell him everything sometime.
Ville put his arm around Bam and Bam rested his head on his shoulder. Bam thought that this would have been a perfectly romantic moment, had Ville not been engaged. But he enjoyed the affection anyway. Before anyone could get too comfortable, though, the door opened and Dunn walked into the room with a very accomplished look on his face. Bam and Ville looked at eachother, and Ville slid a few inches away from Bam, so Dunn wouldn't ask.
"Care to see your Hummer BamBam?" Dunn asked lightheartedly. Bam sprinted over to his American friend and threw his arms around him.
"Yes, RyRy." Bam replied with the same liveliness. Ville got up too, and the three men walked out to the garage in a peaceful silence that only Bam would break.
"Dunn, you scared the shit out of me earlier, but I'm fucking glad you did." Bam said happily when they got close to the garage. He smiled and looked at his two best friends in the world. Even if it was only for now, Bam felt better about everything.
