Sergeant Reed looked up from behind reading glasses at the front desk, already knowing who just busted through the door. Considering he had someone in tow, Reed's pre-selected response to the heavy footfalls was, "What's the charge, Murphy?"

Murphy was leading Belle by the hand, with a surprisingly gentle grip. He didn't want her to get run over by the traffic, though as he had already noted she was an abnormally large woman.

"We're going to the back room for a little chat, Sergeant."

Reed paused what he was doing fully, and looked Murphy in the eye, or at least, the fog glass. His brow furrowed into those short, woolly locks as he went silent for a few moments.

"Here'ssa keys." Reed tossed them over the desk. In an extremely precise fashion, Murphy snagged them on a downward stroke. "Thank you," he said as he marched away.

Murphy let her hand go when they reached the back. He led her to a dark interrogation room, and locked the door. There was, of course, a one-way mirror present.

Belle followed like a sulky child.

"Classy."

She set down, putting her purse on the table.

Murphy looked into the glass. "Scram," he said authoritatively. The three warm-blooded creatures in the next room looked amongst each other, but reluctantly obeyed. Though they had every right to be there, they weren't about to cross Murphy for no reason.

His head panned back to Belle. "State your full name, for the record."

"Belladonna Angelique Carmen Boudreaux."

She had no idea why her family had given her so many names.

Murphy's head panned around the upper corners of the room. As it reached it's gimbal limits, his shoulders turned with it. "B-o-u-d-r-e-a-u-x?" he asked, even though he seemed distracted.

She blinked and gave him a 'wtf' look. "Oui. Somet'in' interestin'?"

Murphy marched to one corner of the room. He reached upwards towards a camera with his massive six-foot-six frame, and it's impressive wingspan. He grabbed the camera and tugged it down off of the ceiling, harshly.

Wires were clearly torn free.

He turned back to Belle and dropped the camera to the floor. "I also need you to set all your weapons on the table. And any other dangerous objects you might possess."

She sighed. And began to take her weapons off. Two thigh holsters of knives. One shoulder rig, with revolver and a pair of speed loaders.

The garrotes were in the under wires of her bra, but still slid out easily and silently, as did the vials of poisons.

"Should be it."

The tall, metal man strode slowly back to the wall, put his back to it. He didn't want to stand right over top of Belle because it was intimidating.

"Thank you. What is the name of the organization you work for, and where is it headquartered?"

"The Unified Guild of New Orleans. And, well, New Orleans."

Good luck finding it, though. It was tucked safely in a swamp.

"What was your place in the Guild?" he asked, turning the key on one door while making notes of the others.

"Viceroy, leader of de assassins."

There were thieves as well, but she didn't have to do much with them.

Murphy was taken aback somewhat.

"You were...the presiding member? Did you start this Guild?"

She laughed. "Fuck no. I jes' inherited it."

Though she was the first viceroy of the Unified Guild, since they had been founded separately.

"How many members does this guild employ?" Murphy asked next, still wary of the tremendous ground they would have to cover.

"None. We're built like a temp service. We're all independent contractors, the jobs just have to come through me for approval."

Which was true, and it had been set up that way (by her), after the other half of the Guild had been turned in.
