AMV #1: Reaching For Stars; Fic #1: who cares, no one else believes
Title: Reaching For Stars
Song: "She's My Ride Home" by Blue October
Characters: Yamamoto, Gokudera, Belphegor, Squalo, minor Tsuna and Xanxus.
Pairings: None really. Possible Belphegor/Gokudera and Yamamoto/Squalo if you want to look at it that way. Possible Squalo/Xanxus (one-sided) and 8059.
Themes: BATTORU. And subtle gay, because it's apparently impossible for me to make anything that does not seem to be dipped in gay.
Rating/Warning(s): PG because of violence, nonexistant blood and giant shaaaaaaaaarks.
Notes: I am displeased by the presence of subtitles, and I think some of it could have been better if I hadn't been half-lazy the entire time I was making it. I took the lyrics to this song literally, which one should really never do to songs, because you end up with something like this: a video with a sweet and sappy romantic song and a bunch of footage with mafia assassins. You get the impression that maybe they can just be redeemed with enough LOVE. And maybe some rainbows and puppies while we're at it.
I STILL REALLY LOVE THIS VIDEO, OKAY. I love the timing and the fact that there even seems to be some minor lip-synching. I need to get good-quality RAWs so that I can make better videos, and more footage so I'm not limited to just these two fights.
