Well, to be fair, it looks like those two got along a bit better than fandom had assumed they would -- they would agree to working with each other if Mammon could help with Verde's science and if Verde paid hir, so there's that. And all of the Arcobaleno did kind of die, presumably of what amounts to radiation poisoning while fighting a scary-powerful enemy. I'm still not sure that this works, though.
