Poetic justice gives me a headache

So yeah I had to work tonight. Loads of fun, btw. Our lovely brand new bridal kiosk that customers would normally use to locate a brides gift selection died today. And wouldnt you know it would be the one day about half the population of Tennessee came to buy gifts for brides? What does this mean? OH it took me about 30 minutes to get ONE list, and when you have 55 bazillion grannies staring at you, you consider suicide. Death by staple gun to the temple.

So I couldnt get the lists fast enough and because the computer didnt work, I couldnt update the lists to reflect what was purchased from each list. Meaning I had to keep a manual record of everything bought for whom and by whom and when the computer is fixed, I get to go in and update each and every list manually.

Kill me.

So Donna pissed me off once again. I'm not sure why that whore still has a job with Belk but she must have some dirt on someone. They fired her before and randomly hired her back. Dont ask.

She is notorious for not wanting to work night shifts or laying out when she does have one. So we're allowed to swap shifts, so she asks me if I'll trade my opening shift tomorrow for her closing shift. And me, being nice and having no plans tomorrow said SURE... BUT only if you'll trade shifts with me next friday and you close and me open because I'm going back to Waynesboro to see some friends.

....

She said no. And then had the nerve to be pissed that I wouldnt switch with her tomorrow! In my head, I'm saying 'Look Donna, a whore like you should know to get a little you gotta give a little.' So yeah she hates my guts but I just bet I hate hers more.

Went to lunch with my boss Esther today and my friend Kendra who works in Shoes and my boss's son's girlfriend showed up. She's also an Amanda... who strips at the club in Smithville. Esther must be the coolest mom ever because she is actually very much for the thought of her son with this stripping Amanda. Not all strippers are low lifes and Amanda is a very nice girl. Galen, Esther's son, is in Iraq right now, he's in the 801st infantry so we're sending lots of care packages to his platoon and writing letters and stuff to the soldiers. I cant even begin to imagine how rough those men have it there.

In other news, Roxy's mother is still in the hospital. They dont think it was a stroke she had, but something more to do with her diabetes. Her right side is numb and she cant move it. Earnest, Roxy's boyfriend, will be home from the Army soon... they think. He's already about three weeks late getting out.

My grandmother is out of the hospital and back in the nursing home. No change in her health situation.

Flowserve never called. That worries me.

I spent 65 dollars on clothes tonight. Jeeezus.

Goodnight all.
