RCRG final

Saturday night I attended the 2007 Championship for the Rat City Rollergirls with Jen, Raymond and Ginger. What a great evening! DLF and Throttle Rockets had an okay match. The Seattle Derby Brats, who are 10-16 year old girls, played an exhibition match during the half time. Undoubtedly, the highlight of the evening was the Final between the Socket Wenches and Grave Danger. It was exciting and energetic and a close game. Both teams made an amazing effort. Grave Danger won in the end (Hooray!), but it was a small margin. At the end of the first half, GD wasn't doing so hot. They were playing sloppy and just getting way too many penalties, and that resulted in them being behind. They really pulled it together for the second half and played some great derby, though. Kudos to the Socket Wenches, who were also fantastic.

I'm excited for the 2008 season!
