When I was at Mongkok, there were just so many corners with so many things to shoot, I thought the best way to cope with this was to capture everything.
For this image, I placed my camera in the middle of a junction between 2 intersecting roads in Mongkok. I shot 4 multiple exposures with each of the 4 different directions, giving a total of 16 exposures layered one onto the other, leaving no chance of any object within the 360 degrees experience of the space to escape that slide of mine.
During the trip,
genviev and I were joking about how if I was given the question as to why I chose to work with so many exposures on a single frame, the answer would be:
"Large format film is very expensive la, so with every piece I must make full use of it!"
