SUMMERY SUNSHINE POLKADOT DRESS
Today, someone asked me (on Formspring) why we hadn't updated Cocoquettes in such a long time. It's really heartening to know we have fans out there :) Anyway, from early this year to now, we've faced so many difficulties in manufacturing. From searching for suppliers to them telling us that they've got a 2 month long queue and encountering problems with the samples/designs time and time again.
Well, we decided to try out two different suppliers this time round. This summery dress is from the first supplier. Then from another supplier, we've got another evening drapey dress with customised embellishments coming up in our next installment - our stocks should arrive some time between mid to end Dec, hopefully in time for Christmas! We're quite pleased with the second supplier so we'll probably go ahead with manufacturing more with that one :) We were so impressed because the embellishments on the dress can be customised! And they follow instructions pretty well. The only con at the moment is that each sample takes quite some time to process because she's quite busy :(
Anyway, without further ado, here's the yellow polkadot dress :) Sorry the photos aren't very clear. I took them with my phone because I collected them without Shisi and wanted to let her see them right after I had collected them! And I never got the chance to take extra photos so I'm just posting these up for now. We should be having our photoshoot at Botanical Gardens this coming Thursday then we'll try and launch it by the end of this week or latest by start of next week I presume!
I like the cutting for this dress :) It flares quite well at the bottom and it fits really nicely on the chest area. But the cutting does run a bit small.. Our first two samples were quite big but I guess because Shisi and I are rather small-chested we sort of cut a little too much on the PTP so now it'll probably only fit a UK4 - large UK8 or something. I guess it could fit a bigger size but it really depends on your bust size. The length of the dress is good though :) At 33 inches, it's definitely not too short nor too long. You can wear it out without having to worry that your undies might peek out when you bend over!!
