For this day I have chosen two movies, one old and one recent:
Duck Soup (1933)
This was the first Marx brothers movie I'd ever seen - and still my favourite and the best if you ask me. You could probably trace a lot of my randomness now in my old age back to this movie (and Andaz Apna Apna from Day 1). Whether my randomness was caused by them, or I just loved the randomness because that's how I'd eventually end up is vicious cycle that's difficult to figure out - a chicken and egg type conundrm. :P
My second movie choice is one from 2 years back - also quite random and VERY hilarious:
Tropic Thunder
I didn't know much about the movie before we went to see it and I was having a pretty rough day when we did (actually, that was the day I had my interview at the ROM for volunteering!) so I didn't expect to get all that cheered up, but WOW this movie had me laughing-out-loud in the theatre. AND it held up on a second viewing and was just as hilarious!
