The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
I went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button today. My overall thoughts on it - I liked it. It was a rather depressing movie, though, which I already knew before going because a few people told me that. There were certain moments/lines that really gave me an emotional kick. :P
Though I thought it was good and I really like Brad Pitt and thought he did a great job, I also felt it was a wee bit slow moving and on the long side. But, like I said, I like Brad Pitt, so it was alright. I was amazed with the effects because when he was an old man if you didn't know that Brad Pitt's not really that tiny...you'd think that's him right there!
Of the two movies I've seen this year, Slumdog Millionaire is winning out so far as the favourite. As I said to Dinithi, it held my interest a lot more (helped that it didn't have such dark lighting - don't know if TCCoBB did because of SC:RH's projection or because it was really bad lighting for the movie?)
