Title: Recruitment Drive Fandom: Disney (Max/Louie pre-pre-pre-slash. Or gen.) Notes: After I wrote the last ficlet, mizzmarvel responded with Hyuck, which is AWESOME. Now it's my turn! Prompt: "The First Meeting"
BEST CHARACTERIZATION OF GOOFY IN A FIC A EVER. ********* out of 5!!!
Also, Max frowned. He hadn't understood all the words that were being used, and he didn't know why they were wearing kitchen things on their heads and no pants. These kids were like no five-year-olds he'd ever met. is brilliant.
Well, right now I am watching Quack Pack, the completely insane story of the triplets as teenagers, and the only incarnation of them where they have distinct personalities. The whole series is up for download somewhere on the 'net, I'm sure - 'tis where I got it. I'm also channeling some DuckTales (available on DVD!) and of course their roles in the theatrical shorts (torrented somewhere and on DVD!).
For Max, I'm mostly going with my beloved A Goofy Movie, although there's a little Goof Troop and An Extremely Goofy Movie in the mix as well. I'm also using the fact that both Max and the triplets worked (as a valet and the band, respectively) in the House of Mouse, although unfortunately I can only rely on vague memories for that one, since it's not online or on DVD. And I need to track down Once Upon a Christmas and Twice Upon a Christmas, because they all have shorts in both of those.
I was doing very well at avoiding falling victim to the utter cuteness of this story! And then I reached Louie's oversized collander hat and it was too adorable. Oh my goodness. *flails*

And yes, the nephews are TERRIBLY TERRIBLY precocious 5-year-olds (they have to be to take care of their uncles!).
Very very well done. :D
