Black and blue

A few times I have had the thought that maybe I am taking on too much with all these courses. I just got back my mark for the first test in the chemistry course (75%) At first I was kind of disappointed with that because it's a low mark. But then I thought about it some more.

The most education I have in science and math is grade 8. Since I dropped out when I was 16 (after going through grade 9 twice yet never completing it. It was because rarely ever went to school, not because the work was too hard). So with that I jumped from a grade 8 science up to grade 12 chemistry. I guess that's not too bad after all, but then this is only the first test. Next test is on math components in chemistry. I'm a little nervous.

Did some work on biology today, since I finally got my textbooks. But there was a bit of a mix up and I ended up with two chem books instead of a math. Hopefully I'll get the math book next week. I've also decided I'll work on getting into the practical nursing program and go from there.

Other than that I had a doctors appointment yesterday. Going over my test results. Not too good, I apparently have some kidney damage from the diabetes, and while my kidneys are still working at 100% at the moment, I guess down the road that can change.
