A Walmart opened today, and it has been the talk of the YEAR!
I'm not even exaggerating. And I don't even want to think about how many people saw it as a momentous enough occasion that they should skip work/school to go be 'one of the first'.
It's like we're one step closer to being a real city!
But, in other news, just two nights ago some crazy stuff went down right in my very own little redneck town.

Oh, and a softball player smashed a ball through the rear windshield of my best friend's car, shattering the entire thing. Her reaction? (the slugger, not my friend) "Oh my God! I had no idea I was so strong!"
