Closing the door to the oven, Callie wipes her flour covered hands on her white apron, and pinches a piece of cookie dough off the sheet. She pops it into her mouth, nearly choking when she feels two arms snake around her waist from behind. “Maarrk,” she giggles. Mark’s arms turn her around, so that her chest is pressed against his. She quickly swallows the bits of cookie dough, knowing that he is going to kiss her. “Hi,” she laughs against his mouth. Mark smiles, pulling away slightly.
“You’re making cookies?” He asks, grinning as she nods. “They smell delicious, Cal.” He sniffs the air slightly, biting his lip with a smile as he recognizes another enticing scent. He leans down, burying his face in her perfume-peppered neck. “As do you, my love.”
Callie grins as Mark stands straight, and she kisses him sweetly.

Twelve minutes later, a freshly showered Mark is met at the bottom of the stairs by Callie, who is holding a tray of the now finished chocolate chip cookies. She holds a cookie up to his mouth, and he takes a bite, a grin gracing his face. Callie kisses him softly, licking some crumbs off his lips. “Happy Birthday, Mark,” she says, before kissing him once more.
