Estos bastardos han caído del cielo esta noche para devolverle el sentido a mi existencia durante uno de los días más insulsos y jodidamente aburridos del verano y casi de todo el puto año.

Formados en 2008 bajo el sol de California, no puedo dejar de saborear cada una de las píldoritas pop que subyacen debajo de las capas de distorsión y reverb que tan deliciosamente embadurnan sus canciones.

Un álbum, Summer of Hate (2008), otro en camino, Sleep Forever (Sept 2010)  y unos cuantos siete pulgadas es todo lo que tenemos de ellos hasta el momento. Más que suficiente para afirmar que son una de mis nuevas bandas favoritas, sin duda alguna... Ecos de The Jesus and Mary Chain, Echo and the Bunnymen, Spacemen 3 y clásicos californianos resuenan en sus irresistibles canciones.

En esta ocasión me decanto por el mash up de Groove is in the Heart de Deee-lite y California Girls de los Beach Boys que se han marcado como cara b del single homónimo extraído de Sleep Forever.
