Robbie decided to go exploring last night.
Perhaps with hindsight he shouldn't have started with climbing out of my bedroom window(Point to note I have a 3 storey house and my bedroom is on the top floor). Then after climbing onto the Window ledge, progressing onto the roof and the guttering wasn't the second best choice to make, especially when you get round the other end over the neighbours living room windows and realise you can't turn. Mewing pathetically isn't much help either when your owner can't reach you. Then launching yourself from the guttering down onto the roof of the car parked underneath was probably a reasonably wise choice considering options(although the spiked fence beside that car was dangerously close and could have been deadly). Last night we thought he'd landed on the gravel underneath, only this morning in daylight can we see the claw marks on the car beneath the windows. He was well shaken and crying desperately, totally lost and trying to climb back up the side of the building by the time we got down there. However in all his distress he did come running over to me when I called and I carried him back inside. He seems to have survived unscathed. Nothing seems to hurt as I prodded and poked him all over and pulled his legs back and forwards. He's running around the house, eating normally and there's no sign of any blood in his 'output'. He's just a little quieter and hiding a bit more today as he's obviously had a bit of a shock to his system.
I'm now not sure if I'll ever get him to go outside properly!
