So I have to go to work, now. But that big huge meta thing I was going to post sort of boiled down to:
How come many female baseball fans are so anti-liking a player for his looks but then you have many of them slashing a player because he's hot? Or, well, the more commonly-slashed players are ones that are generally deemed as hot. I mean, I am just like, befuddled. Isn't that sort of the same thing? I get the whole "he's hot, I wanna see him make out with another dude" mindset, but still, I keep thinking its done solely in the name of slash as opposed to like, an actual attempt at something decent. Of course, this is mostly seen in badfic anyway so I shouldn't be paying so much mind to it, should I?
