I fucking hate Wordpress right now. I was editting my post for NNFJ about the 08 Braves rotation and my case for why the Braves could unfortunately win the division, and when I click on "Save and Continue Editting" I get some page about "Can not publish" (?!) and it ATE everything I had written. I spent 20 minutes fixing the intro and feeding in stats. Of all the goddamn posts, it's the one I don't want to spend any more time on than is absolutely neccessary. DIAFF, wordpress.
Although, look out for my entry hopefully by tonight. Hopefully. Ugh, fuck you go fucking die fucking Wordpress RAWR! >:O
-Lidge hurt himself on the first pitch he threw at practice. Good. Fine. Wonderful. GREAT. Apparently it's "nothing serious" but isn't that what they always say?
-On to happier things. There was a Q&A with Chutley in the Inquirer. He has a personality! Who knew? Haha, just kiddin'. ilu Chase.
-Phils started their Wall of Fame votin'! Vote now or forever hold your peace. Or somethin'.
-I found a Kendrick article from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (KK's from Mount Vernon, WA). It's dated, but, it's about his minor-league path, as told by his dad. And apparently Kyle called his dad right after he got prank'd. Baseball players who are close to their moms are cute, but guys and their dads just make me melt, for some reason. ♥
Also, I started putting in for days off to go to games. For my own future refenrence, I got it all together.
PHI vs. SFG, May 2-4. ayrdaomei suggested this as means for booing Zito. And I was like, "Sure!" because while there are other teams I'd rather see the Phils up against, I really don't care necessarily, as long as I'm seeing my boys. And then I was like, "Oh yeah, A-Row!" How quickly we forget.
PHI vs. ATL, May 13-15. Surprisingly enough, I have never attended a Braves/Phils game. I know, right? This year though. Fucking finally. I don't care if I have to go by myself, which, I probably will. But that's fine. The signs are already prepared in my mind. I'd rather go in May anyway, not the end of July when it's atrociously humid, or the end of September when they tend to sell out more.
FLA @ NYM, May 27 & 28. Lucky me, I'm scheduled to work Memorial Day. And I mean it, I get paid holiday + time and half for whatever hours I work. So that should make up for this little trek up to Shea. blinding_voip and I are going to meet up, and hopefully so will nyrnym359.
PHI v. FLA, Aug. 6 and/or 7. I'm going to take my paid vacation, or try to, for this week, and blinding_voip is going to come visit me. Planning on going to the Portland Sea Dogs and RPhils on the 5th, and then Fish and Big Phils on the 6 and/or 7th. It should be interesting, me in my Phils gear and her in her Jake shirt. Bahaha.
The only one I haven't put in for time off yet is the August series. But so far, so good, I'm thinkin'.
