This makes me more upset than Nails being on the Mitchell Report. First piggies, now walruses. Is the universe against me or what?
Which, btw, the fact that he was the most prominent Phillie on there? In a way it makes me proud. Er, not of him, OBVIOUSLY, but just to know that all those years they sucked, and all these years of gradually getting better have been of their own accord. And also this sense of relief, in a way. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I thought there'd be more "big" names besides Len on there, just by association, since he'd been speculated about for so long. But a lot were journeymen/bench players.
The front page of the Reading Eagle had this huge space across the top. Something like CAUGHT! or CHEATED! or summat. ANYWAY. It had pictures of the likes of BARRY BONDS! and GARY SHEFFIELD! and ANDY PETTITTE! and...David Bell? One of these is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong...

So guess what, a writing-related meme I'll actually do! No, seriously! I went over it quite a few times seeing if there's anything I couldn't/wouldn't answer and the only thing I could think of is perhaps #2. It's stoled from offspeed btw.

Doesn't have to be anyone I write about, as that's very small, and I'd actually love to answer this about some of my Phils. NL East is surefire for answers, but if you wanna try your luck/be mean, you can go elsewheres.
