What do you call a baby turkey? A goblet!
Well since Thanksgiving is almost over, here's my list of things I am thankful for. I know I'm getting old when my Thanksgiving list is more fun than my Christmas list. Anyway. My list. My very short list.
-I'm thankful for all my fave sports, and all my teams and boys, but baseball is the big one, what I'm most thankful for. It's always been loyal to me, if not always nice. I can't put into words what the game has meant to me, especially my Phils. And there's so many tiny niches in the game of baseball that make each and every different fan happy, and yet we all bond over it, and it's given me so many friends, and inspiration to boot. Even the heartache, I'm thankful for that. Baseball really is a lot like real life: completely out of your control, full of disappointment, but it ain't over until it's over. Unless you live in Montreal, er. Anyway.
-Yes, I'm thankful for my family, and that I have a job and so far, nice co-workers. But most of all I'm think for each and every one of yous on my FList. Because my entire life, while I was told that it's "okay" to be different, I was never treated as if that were so, and I started to wonder if I was different or just plain messed-up. And without the friendship and support of every single one of you guys, I don't know if I would know that. I can be myself around you guys, talk to you without feeling "wrong" or ashamed of myself, just be happy and being happy is the biggest thing I can ever be thankful for. And you made it possible. Thank you so so much. ♥ ♥ ♥
