Freddy Garcia ran into a truck. Like actually ran into it.
You know, even if he is healthy enough to start tomorrow, I don't think he should. If you run into a truck, you should banned from participating in normal human activities for a day, and just sit in a corner with the Stupid Helmet.
Speaking of the Stupid Helmet, I should wear it for being all doo-de-doo psh basketball. And now I feel like an ass but I seriously am contemplating not removing my Jazz shirt for the remainder of the playoffs. I watched basically none of the first round. I usually don't watch the first round, though, last year I only watched the Suns/Lakers, and I can't remember watching any the year before. Obviously it's different with your favorite team, it's just hard to realize it, if that makes sense.
Okay you know what? I'll fess up. I just suck, I've been arranging my schedule around baseball.
I don't care if it makes me a bitch, but I got satisfaction out of seeing the o-ver-ra-ted Rockets get sent home, and T-Mac ONCE AGAIN failing to advance. I think it would've hurt more if the Rockets won as opposed to the fact if it were the Jazz losing.
I'd rather them play the Suns (if they reach the next round, I'm not going to speak too soon!) 3-1 season, even though the wins were close, and the loss was a blowout. Spurs were a split but were so. Hit or miss that I don't feel like in the playoffs that there'll be a lot of "hit", especially with the experience heavily in the Spurs favor. I cringe.
I'll spare any pictures, but augh! Steve! That high-pitched noise you didn't hear because only dogs could hear it was me. And I read this
interesting article about how one of the biggest reasons Steve may not win MVP would/could be because of the fact that it'd be his 3rd straight, which some people would be uncomfortable with.
And speaking of Steve...
Dirk says that he's taking a month off before getting back to practicing, training, etc. 3 guess where my mind went. Gee, I believe the NBA playoffs last about that much longer. My brain is so warped.
So, tomorrow will consist of, a little bit of Marlins, a little bit of Phillies, and a lot bit of Jazz.
Of course, besides tomorrow, the Jazz games are at 9. Luckily, Tuesday is Eaton so I doubt that game'll be a good game anyway, and I won't have to worry too much.
Wednesday is 6:40, Moyer's pitching. Apparently I've found favor with the Baseball Gods. :D
