again, lol omg what
Wright has dinner with President Can not. Breathe.
lol this is seriously one of the best things I've ever woken up to.
I have a little more to update on. Which I shall ETA after a nice warm shower mmmm.
ETA: Okay, first of all, I'm trying to get on to
ohnotheydidnt but I CAN'T, it's all blah blah blah database not available yadda yadda.
Is it possible that ONTD died along with Anna Nicole Smith?!
Also, I've watched a few movies the past few nights. One of them I've already seen several times before, Rope. Although I haven't really watched it in over a year.
May I just say, again, how much I love this movie? There's nothing spectacular about it, and it's certainly not one of Hitchcock's best; even, it was just an experimental film, technically.
But it is special in the sense that it was really one of the first mainstream movies to deal with homosexuality. Now, of course, it's never mentioned. But Hitch knew, the writers knew, the actors knew that Rope dealt with "it", and I think that's kind of brilliant in a way, how it's there but not mentioned so you don't...know. I guess.
And it's based off the Leopold/Loeb case, which has always been terribly interesting to me.
I think sometimes I love movies with slashy subtext more than movies that are open gay romances.
Plus, yeah, upon further reflection, I'd still totally do Brandon. If he didn't like boys. But then again, he's not real, so it doesn't matter if he likes boys or not anyway. He's such a fucker, I adore it. ♥
I also watched Dead Man's Chest. I don't have to cut for this. All I can say is that
A) I hope the third movie really ties things up, so this will be redeemed. Because seriously, what the hell did I just spend two hours watching?
B) Norringtonnnnnn. :( ♥
Don't look so shocked, most everyone knows of my Percy Weasley love, my love for Norrington shouldn't be a surprise at all.
