Just a quick update.
-Last night's game was AMAZING! (sorry,
panda_check, no pictures. I don't have a camera and the view wasn't really the best for picture-taking). Fifth game this year, fifth blowout I've witnessed. Hrm. Left field seats, pretty damn good view. Some pretty inconsiderate Mets fans (although that's a bit redundant) sitting in front of us holding up signs and yeah, heckling them was part of the fun. Got a Phils yearbook, magazine, and a shirt. Not the Rollins one I was looking for; didn't have it in my size (Youth-L). I did buy a Chutley one but then I saw one with the 1980 World Champions logo, with the Phanatic holding a pennant so I returned the Chutley one and bought that instead. Almost bought the 1980 DVD, because it was surprisingly cheap.
-I was walking through Ashburn Alley and I never noticed before how they have tiles sectioned off, memorializing Phillies All-Stars at each position. So that was fun times for me, I was all, "OO! OO!" pointing out the ones I remembered and were familiar with.
-Wright was taken out early which kinda sucked for me because he only had 3 ABs but he did strike out the one, and I yelled incredibly loud for him to SIT DOWN, BUT DON'T BREAK THE BENCH, FATTY! and ahaha I'm awesome. Other people thought so too. ^___^
-Before the game, Pam and I went to Wal-Mart and the did not have ONE SEASON of 24 available, so I bought some movies: Liar, Liar (which we just attempted to watch, but, about an hour through it started skipping real bad. So I might return it if we go back this week. But it also could just be my DVD player. I'll try it on my computer, see how that goes), Bad News Bears, South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut, and For the Love of the Game. Also bought some of that new Pepsi Jazz stuff, and I REALLY like it, especially considering it's diet.
-SPEAKING OF JAZZ. So holy shit, yesterday morning I read through ProSportsDaily that the Utah Jazz bear, in all it's creepiness, was to be inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame this year. And wouldn't you know, at the game last night, Bear, as well as the other inductees, all paid a visit to Citizens Bank Park. I so lit up because Bear, despite being demonic in appearance, is adorable in his actions and it will probably be a long while until I actually get to go out to the Delta Center to see him at a Jazz game. So that was a huge highlight for me. :)
-So today, I think, Pam and I will probably just laze around and watch the Cubs/Astros game, and movies, which we did a bit yesterday too. Maybe take a walk to the park after dinner, before the Red Sox game.
-And I may take off work on Sunday because yeah, not so keen on working at Reading when Denise is there and Judy and Lisa aren't. Besides, the next Monday is a doubleheader, so that should make up for it, paywise. :)
-Also, I managed to get my fic up over 600 words. So that's good. Finally being able to put words to ideas.
Okay so that wasn't really a quick update. Oh well.
