Ah so it's finally the sunday before the long and busy week. Three tests and then, Thursday afternoon I will be home free.
I feel so burnt out from all of this studying that I'm doing. I almost feel as if its pointless. I feel like I'm not retaining enough information.
History test tomorrow, once that's over with I'll feel 50% better. The Sociology test on Wednesday I'm not even worried about. I didn't study for the mid-term but it was open note and I barely used the notes and still got 100 on it.
Thursday morning is my advancement test. I should make it this time, but I always feel that I'll fall into that low percentage of people that don't make it. I donno. I guess I'm living in doubt. I know I need not worry, but this is my career - or at least I hope to make it my career.
At least when this week is over I will only have one thing to do.
The weekend of my birthday, DJ and I are going to San Francisco. I can't wait! I've been wanting to go there for a while. At least once I've been there i only have 2 more places to visit before I go - LA and Monterey. Been to San Diego - 3 times, and then I went to Yosemite about 2-3 weeks after I got here. I went to Fontana for the Race, and now I'm headin' to San Fran. And once I see the other two places, I will never come back to this crazy state again.
I'm in my 9 month window to pick orders now. I really want to go to Japan. There are a lot of Japan orders listed, but my Chief is trying to help me get orders to the squadron that is currently down the street, but is moving to Japan permanently at the end of the year. So the list came out on Wednesday, but that squadron wasn't listed, so my Chief told me to wait a month and see if the billet for that squadron pops up next month. So we'll see what happens there.
My first airshow got cancelled. It was supposed to be at the end of this month in Riverside, CA, but I don't know why they cancelled it, but I guess they're trying to get us a show somewhere in South Dakota. That would be cool. I'm looking forward to it. The DEMO team is probably the most exciting thing that my job entails right now.
So as of right now, my first show will be at the end of July in Milwaukee, WI. My parents will be coming to that show so I'm looking forward to it.
Its already 9:30 and i'm not even close to tired. Usually I'm ready to pass out by now. But then again its Sunday. I actually haven't left my room at all today except to do laundry right down the hall.
Last night I started reading Twilight, It's actually pretty good so far. I actually bought the book at an airport on the way back here from leave. It was a recommendation from Nikki.
I just want this week to be over. Oh well. Don't want to rush time... look what happened in Click!
