Yesterday, they'd finally come back up from Rapture, and Saffron had wanted nothing more than to lock herself away with her boyfriend and get caught up in him, for a long, long time. Even they needed to eat, though, and so today she'd left him to enjoy an afternoon nap at home while she went to pack up a basket dinner for them to bring back from the kitchen.
She hadn't really seen anyone else since coming back up, and there were people she wanted to check in with, both to show them she was all right - unlike the last time she and Lex came back from an adventure in a strange new addition to the island - and to see that they were, too. Standing in the kitchen, the simple dinner she'd put together half-packed into the basket she'd found, Saffron thought maybe she could take a little time, let Xander sleep a while longer and go out visiting for a bit.
