To Saffron's way of thinking, it was a given that any good bachelor party would be held at a strip club. Something about saying goodbye to being single and hello to a lifetime with the same person really needed a send-off involving drinking and sexy people taking their clothes off set to music and possibly a pair or two of boobs in the groom's face

Back in Kentucky, if somebody had told him that this was how his life would turn out - Rachel pregnant, house almost finished, attending a big gay bachelor party - he'd have laughed. He finds himself oddly comfortable with the situation, though.

Things change, but not necessarily for the worst.

"I think that Neil and I showed remarkable restraint," she says, leaning in for a kiss. She has to wear a loose, flowing dress due to her recently popped out belly but it's as cleavage baring and short as she can get away with. "I even let Danny wear a shirt."

"I can barely see you in here at all," he says, leaning in to kiss her too, brushing his fingers through her hair. He likes the dress, likes it very much; he likes it so much that they barely got out of the house.

"And that is remarkably charitable of you, sweetheart."

[sluttylyingliar]

"I know, right?" she murmurs against his mouth, wrapping her arms around his neck. Raylan respects her too much to go all caveman after Halloween, but fighting together for their little family has made her feel better about the whole thing, as strange as it is.

"And I've hardly even bitched about the fact that I'm stone cold sober. Did you notice Danny let me put eyeliner on him? And leather? I'm pretty sure I've given you all enough ammo for the next year at least."

"I'm just glad you didn't try to put it on me," he murmurs, still staying closer to her, his arm wrapping around her waist to draw her in closer against him.

"Because I love you, but I'm not sure I'd run to that."

[sluttylyingliar]

"Yeah, see the entire point of his outfit was to convince Steve to give up this pre-wedding celibacy bullshit where you and I have never had a problem like that," she explains. "Plus, even your patience has got to run thin at some point."

[angriestman]

"Not yet, anyway," he says, grinning as he bends down to snag another kiss from her. His hand grazes against her ass.

"Hell, maybe I would let you put eyeliner on me...dependin' on what came next."

[sluttylyingliar]

"What would come next is things I cannot discuss in polite company," she murmurs, grazing her teeth along the outside of his ear. She's definitely reached the fucking stage of the pregnancy. She wants it constantly, somehow even more than usual. "You know, since we're parents, now. Have to maintain a proper facade in public."

[angriestman]

"Oh, absolutely," says Raylan, his hand very definitely on her ass now, keeping her close. He turns away from her a little, scanning the party.

"You know, I'm excited about the baby, but I do kinda miss you dancin'."

[sluttylyingliar]

"Yeah," she breathes, laughing softly as she kisses along his temple. "Not quite the same effect when you've got a big belly. Maybe you should build a pole in the house so I can get back into shape after I have the kid."

[angriestman]

"I could definitely do that," he says, nodding, turning his head to catch the corner of her mouth with another kiss.

"I can see definite benefits in that for me."

[sluttylyingliar]

"You know I thought you might," she smirks, kissing him slowly and not at all appropriately for a public venue.

"Hey, so changing the topic in a weird direction, Chase told me we can come in next week if we want to know if the kid's a boy or girl. Told him I'd ask you."

If it were anyone but Raylan and Rachel, it might seem weird discussing this in a strip club...but it's just not.

He pauses for a moment, head tilted on one side. His eyes narrow as he thinks about it.

"Do we want to know ahead of time?"

[sluttylyingliar]

"I think I do," she admits, biting her lip as she fights not to fidget.

"I just...I think it would help to know what to expect as much as I can. I can get used to it."

[angriestman]

"Okay," he says, nodding, because there's no way in the world that he can deny her anything. "If you want to know, we'll go and we'll find out."

[sluttylyingliar]

"Okay," she breathes, a relieved smile flitting quickly across her face. "That's not, I mean you didn't have your heart set on being surprised or whatever. Or like, either gender. Do you care?"
