How do you do, Professor? [Alice offers a small curtsy] Welsome to Somarium! You're much calmer than most who com here! How splendid! [She smiles brightly.] my name is Alice! Alice Liddell, it's lovely to meet you!

[He does a double take at the name, but brushes it off as a coincidence.]

I admit I did a bit of research before introducing myself, rather than asking for answers on here first.

It is a pleasure to meet you Alice. [He does a little bow too, following her curtsy.]

Oh how splendidly clever! I suppose it's to be expected of a professor! Are you from England? You said you were from America but you have an English accent! I'm from Oxford myself! And what a lovely time to be from! It's almost an entire century after me! But time is such a curious thing! I've not ever met Time, but I'm told he's very kind to his friends! Oh wouldn't that be lovely to be friends with Time! Think of everything you could do! Why, if you wanted to take a nap in the middle of the day but not miss anything you could ask Time to stop! If only for an hour or so! And while you slept the entire world would never know anything had happened at all!

Oh! I suppose Somarium is very much like that! Years and years can pass here but barely any time will have passed at home! Why, if I go back to Oxford I'll be seven and a half again! Oh! I do wonder if it shall be winter there too! I do hope I remember everything! I would love to tell about all the people I've met and the things I've learnt!

I am technically American, but I spent most of my years in England hence the accent. I graduated from Oxford so I've lived in the area like you.

I suppose you're right. And I do hope we remember our time here even if we'll think of it as just a dream.

How is someone "technically" an American? Isn't that you are or you aren't? Ah! But you attended the university! Isn't is splendid! It's one of the best universities in the world! [As she grew up in Oxford, she is prideful of her home's college.]

I hold American citizenship but I've spent so much time in England that it'd probably be more accurate to say I'm English.

[He smiles warmly.]

It is a great place to study. I couldn't have asked for better.

I assume that we are kept here for a bit so where would one go to find a place to stay?

You merely find a home you wish to stay in, and as long as no one is already in it, you can just move in!

No one minds? I assumed there would be forms to fill out, rent to be paid and so on.

Mmnn well you can fill out forms, but there is nothing to pay!
