It's been awhile...

It's been awhile, I know. Things have been going by so fast. It seems like I blinked for just a minute and suddenly it's Tuesday night. I'm at my dad's right now in Stratford. My step-mom is gone for a work trip thinger and I suppose when the cat's away, the mice will play. Whenever she goes away on a trip me, Catherine and dad pig out on junk food, stay up late, and just have a good time. He's like a big kid at heart.

Well, this weekend was an interesting one. One friday I was sick with that wicked head cold mom blessed me with ONCE AGAIN. And to my sheer luck (I hope your smelling the sarcasism), Kevin (my stepbrother for those who don't know) had a million and one french friends of his over for a "party". Now, this party included parents home, bowls of chips, a movie and a punch bowl full of...mmmm... punch. I'm sorry, it wasn't spiked. Not really my cup o' tea. I felt like I was in 7th grade all over again (by the way, he's only 8 months younger than me, and in grade 12 as well). It was nuts. Now, there WAS a few decent looking fellas there. By few I mean 3 tops. But staying home on a friday night because you can't breath, I'll take what I can get. They were nice, so it wasn't that bad. Since Kevin goes to the French School and speaks French as his first language, they all assumed so did I. They first bombarded me with French mumbo-jumbo, question after question, nothing at all making sense to me. Then I, very toolish-like, told them I didn't have a clue as to what they were saying. I felt cool.

Saturday was the usual run-of-the-mill morning. Then Katie called me and said Cody had called her asking if we were going to their hockey game at the UPEI. I again, toolishly replied "Yeah, sure, I'd love to." Don't worry, Katie didn't let me get away with it that easy, haha. So the game was at 3ish so me and Kates got to together, and headed to get Tim's inwhich her Hot Chocolate was out to get me, I'm sure of it. Katie wanted me to open the lid to release all the hotness of it, which is understandable, but this Hot Chocolate would jump and bump and spill... without any reason. No bumps on the road or anything. Hot Chocolate doesn't like me.

When we got to the game the plastic seats were freakishly cold, and not to mention small as hell. The place was FREEZING, like I-can't-feel-my-toes freezing. Casey was there watching a few rows behind us and Tyson soon as well. I think he was kicked out haha, rough ol' boys. The cheerers on our side were... very half-assed. Every little bit we would here "Go Souris!" Haha, classic.

Anyways, they won their game! 6-2! I was sooo happy for them, that's the first game they've won that I've been to. Yay!

We then met up with Justin and Cody in the lobby. They then informed me that they were coming over to my house to have a shower. I had nothing to say to that. I didn't know what to say to that, nor could I think up an excuse. We then ventured on to my dad's. We awkwardly went into my house. No one was home, which made it less weird. We went downstairs and played pool and this virtual table tennis game until they had enough of their reek and had a shower. Ew, they were naked where I bathe. Haha, I'm weird.

Then, because they wanted to, we played more pool until I bitched enough that I wanted food. The boys now all spiffied up, we went out on the town. The town meaning Wendys. It was good. Then, not knowing what to do in town because town has actually NOTHING to do, we went to Katies to watch cartoons. Yes, watch cartoons. Katie's mom found that rather funny. I mean, com'on, it was a classic episode. It was a collage of Bugs Bunny's greatest hits. Who can resist something so good.

I thought we were going to the movies because every two seconds Cody or Justin would tell someone they were talking to or whatever that we were going to, but at the last minute, "No, we don't want to." Fine, big babies. So we drove around this awesome town. And by awesome, I mean not awesome. But none the less it was funny.

Coming on the end of the night Justin comes up with the idea of jumbo Slushies. It sounded good. The three of them indulged in the jumbo Slushie idea. I, however was intimidated by this jumbo Slushie. I swear it was as big as my head. I stayed with my good, solid, dependable Pepsi.

Then we got bored. And you know what you do when you're bored? Obviously go back to play pool. Because obviously noone can get enough pool. *coughcoughYeahRightcoughcough*

And then the night ended. It was fun.

Monday I started going to the day care for my morning ChildCare class. It's hilarious. The kids are soooo sweet. I love them. Some of them even had pictures they drew ready and waiting for me this morning. It was so cute. But I don't think the profession's for me. Actually, I'm positive. Too many kids running around, screaming, always needing your help and attention... no way.

So it's Tuesday night. Boring as it is. School dance this Friday. I'm sure i'll be writing about that Saturday or Sunday. And more than likely have some new pictures for my website. I'm out, peace.
